You need to be in a calorie surplus to grow. Track your meals using MyFitnessPal and aim for 300 to 500 calories above your maintenance level. Hit 1.6 to 2.2g of protein per kg of body weight daily.
Supplements are optional. Whey or plant-based protein powders can help meet daily protein needs, and creatine monohydrate is well-researched for strength and muscle gains. But whole foods come first.
